ABOUT THE INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Teachers Training College B.Ed., Aalo functions as a statutory, strategic, and continuous quality enhancement system aligned with the Quality Assurance Framework of Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), Doimukh and the Quality Mandate of ERC–NCTE, New Delhi. It ensures consistent improvement in academic, administrative, and infrastructural domains of teacher education.

IQAC works as the apex internal quality regulator responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring reforms in teaching practices, governance, digital integration, and faculty enrichment. It functions according to the guidelines of NAAC and NCTE’s Quality Indicators for Teacher Education Institutions.

The Cell conducts periodic academic audits, curriculum compliance checks, and stakeholder feedback analysis to determine areas requiring improvement. IQAC also promotes capacity building, ICT-based teaching, and professional development initiatives.

Further, IQAC documents and disseminates institutional best practices, prepares the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), and provides policy recommendations to the Principal and Governing Body for accreditation readiness and institutional growth.
