The Scholarship Committee of Teachers Training College (B.Ed.), Aalo is an institutional statutory body constituted in accordance with the Regulatory Ordinances of Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), Doimukh, and the normative framework of ERC-NCTE, New Delhi. The Committee ensures equitable access to financial assistance, merit recognition, and socio-economic inclusion for students pursuing teacher education.
Its core mandate is the administration, scrutiny, and recommendation of applications for Central, State, and Institutional scholarships. It guarantees procedural transparency, eligibility verification, and timely submission of documentation as per the guidelines of affiliating and recognizing authorities.
The Committee maintains updated records, conducts awareness drives, and disseminates information on fellowships, minority scholarships, and merit-cum-means grants. It collaborates with District Education Offices, State Nodal Agencies, and University Scholarship Cells to ensure disbursal and audit compliance.
It also identifies and recommends deserving candidates for institutional awards and endowment scholarships. Periodic reports are submitted to IQAC and the Governing Body. Thus, the Scholarship Committee ensures financial equity, meritocracy, and administrative propriety in accordance with RGU and ERC-NCTE norms.
